4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Accessing the Interior

The Aigo DarkFlash DK100 features a tempered glass side panel for easy access to internal components. To open the case, locate and unscrew the thumb screws securing the tempered glass panel. Carefully remove the panel and set it aside on a soft, flat surface to prevent scratches.

4.2. Motherboard Installation

The DK100 supports ATX, Micro-ATX (M-ATX), and Mini-ITX (ITX) motherboards. Install the necessary standoffs for your motherboard form factor. Carefully align your motherboard with the standoffs and the rear I/O shield opening, then secure it with screws from the accessory kit.

4.3. Component Clearance

  • VGA (Graphics Card) Length: Supports graphics cards up to 300 mm.
  • CPU Cooler Height: Accommodates CPU coolers up to 160 mm.
  • Power Supply: Supports ATX power supplies, mounted at the bottom of the case.

4.4. Storage Drive Installation

The DK100 provides flexible storage options:

  • 3.5" Drives (HDDs): 2 dedicated bays.
  • 2.5" Drives (SSDs): 2 or 3 bays, depending on configuration.

Locate the drive bays and secure your SSDs or HDDs using the provided screws. Ensure proper cable management for power and data connections.

4.7. Fan and Cooling System Installation

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean dust filters (if present) and the interior of the case using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Cable Management: Periodically check cable routing to ensure optimal airflow and prevent interference with fans.
  • Panel Care: Clean the tempered glass panel with a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials.

7. Troubleshooting

  • System Not Powering On:
    • Check all power connections, including the power supply unit (PSU) to the wall, the PSU to the motherboard, and the front panel power switch cable to the motherboard header.
    • Ensure the PSU switch is in the "ON" position.
  • No Display Output:
    • Verify that your monitor is connected to the graphics card (or motherboard integrated graphics) and is powered on.
    • Reseat the graphics card and RAM modules.
  • Overheating:
    • Ensure all case fans are properly installed and spinning.
