2. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand the following safety guidelines before using the device:
- The main unit and remote sensors should be placed within 60 meters (200 feet) of each other for optimal wireless communication.
- Ensure both units are positioned at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from electronic devices that may cause interference, such as televisions, microwaves, computers, or radios.
- Do not use heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries in the remote sensors. For low-temperature conditions, lithium batteries are recommended as alkaline batteries may not function properly.
- Avoid mixing old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Prevent water or any other liquid from entering the sensor units.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:

4. Initial Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The main unit requires 2 x AA batteries, and each remote sensor requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included).
- Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 2 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Remote Sensors: Open the battery compartment on the back of each remote sensor. Insert 2 AAA batteries into each sensor, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

4.2 Sensor Pairing
The remote sensors should automatically pair with the main unit once batteries are installed. If a sensor does not connect:
- Ensure both the main unit and the sensor are within range.
- Press the 'CH/▲' button on the main unit to cycle through channels.
- On the remote sensor, press the 'TX' button (usually located inside the battery compartment or on the back) to manually send a signal.
- If issues persist, remove and reinsert batteries in both units, then try pairing again.
4.3 Placement Guidelines
Proper placement ensures accurate readings and optimal wireless transmission.
- Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect its indoor temperature and humidity readings. It can stand on a tabletop or be wall-mounted.
- Remote Sensors: Place remote sensors in desired outdoor or indoor locations (e.g., garden, greenhouse, basement, baby room, wine cellar). Ensure they are protected from direct rain and prolonged direct sunlight. Avoid placing them near large metal objects or thick walls that could obstruct the wireless signal.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Overview
The large LCD display shows indoor temperature and humidity, along with readings from up to three remote sensors.

Image: A detailed breakdown of the main unit's display, showing channels, temperature, humidity, comfort icons, and trend arrows.
- IN: Indoor temperature and humidity (from the main unit).
- 1, 2, 3: Outdoor temperature and humidity for each remote sensor channel.
- °C/°F: Indicates the current temperature unit.
- %: Indicates humidity percentage.
- Trend Arrows: Show if temperature/humidity is rising, falling, or stable.
- Comfort Icons: Visual representation of comfort level (Wet, Comfort, Dry).
5.2 Button Functions
- MEM/°C/°F Button:
- Press once to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- Press and hold to view the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) temperature and humidity records. Press again to cycle through MAX, MIN, and current readings.
- CH/▲ Button:
- Press to manually cycle through the remote sensor channels (1, 2, 3) or to view all channels in sequence.
- When setting alerts, press to increase the value.
- Alert Button (Triangle Icon):
- Press to activate or deactivate the temperature/humidity alert function.
- Press and hold to enter alert setting mode.
5.3 Max/Min Records
The device automatically records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values over a 24-hour period. These records update every 24 hours.
- To view: Press and hold the 'MEM/°C/°F' button. The display will show MAX values, then MIN values, then return to current readings.
- To reset: The records automatically reset every 24 hours. There is no manual reset option for the 24-hour cycle.
5.4 Comfort Level Indicator
The comfort indicator provides a quick visual reference for the current indoor humidity level:

Image: Visual representation of the comfort level icons and their corresponding humidity ranges.
- WET: Humidity ≥ 70%
- COM (Comfort): 40% ≤ Humidity ≤ 70% AND 20°C ≤ Temperature ≤ 28°C (68°F ≤ Temperature ≤ 82.4°F)
- DRY: Humidity ≤ 40%
5.5 Temperature/Humidity Alert Function
You can set custom high and low alert values for temperature and humidity. The device will emit an audible alarm when the readings reach these pre-set values.
- Press and hold the 'Alert' button (triangle icon) to enter alert setting mode. The high temperature alert value will flash.
- Use the 'CH/▲' button to adjust the value.
- Press the 'Alert' button again to confirm and move to the next setting (low temperature, high humidity, low humidity).

- Once all settings are confirmed, the device will exit alert setting mode.
- To activate/deactivate the alert, simply press the 'Alert' button once. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
6. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the units in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion. Store in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Geevon thermometer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| No display on main unit or sensor. | Check battery polarity. Replace with fresh batteries. Ensure batteries are not heavy-duty or rechargeable for sensors. |
| Remote sensor not connecting/displaying. | Ensure sensor is within 60m (200ft) of the main unit. Press the 'TX' button on the sensor. Press 'CH/▲' on the main unit to cycle channels. Remove and reinsert batteries in both units. Avoid electronic interference. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Ensure units are not in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in drafts. Verify sensor is protected from rain. Allow units to stabilize for 15-30 minutes after setup. |
| Alert not sounding. | Ensure the alert function is activated (alarm icon visible). Check that alert thresholds are set correctly. |
| Short wireless range. | Reduce obstacles between units (walls, large metal objects). Relocate units away from interfering electronics. Ensure fresh batteries. |
