3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Battery Installation
The Johgee Water Timer requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert 2 new AA batteries, observing the +/- markings.
- Close the battery cover securely to ensure water resistance.

3.2 Connecting to Faucet
The timer is designed for easy connection to standard outdoor faucets.
- Ensure your faucet is turned off.
- Screw the timer's inlet connector onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten only. Do not overtighten.
- Connect your garden hoses to the two independent outlets (A and B) at the bottom of the timer.
- Turn on your faucet. The timer is now ready for programming.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 LCD Display Overview
The large LCD display provides all necessary information for programming and monitoring.

4.2 Automatic Watering Mode
Program specific watering schedules for each outlet (A and B) independently.
- Press the A/B button to select the zone (A or B) you wish to program.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the Irrigation Duration (from 1 second to 99 minutes).
- Use the +/- buttons to set the Irrigation Frequency (from 1 hour to 23 hours, or 1 day to 15 days).
- Set the Start Time for the irrigation cycle.
- Confirm settings by pressing OK.

4.3 Manual Watering Mode
Initiate watering instantly without affecting your programmed schedules.
- Press the Manual Watering button (often indicated by a water drop icon).
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (from 1 second to 99 minutes).
- Press OK to start manual watering.
- To stop manual watering, press the Manual Watering button again or ESC/OFF.

4.4 Rain Delay Function
Pause your watering schedule to avoid overwatering during rainy periods.
- Press the + Delay button.
- Use the +/- buttons to select the desired delay duration (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours).
- Press OK to activate the rain delay. The display will show a rain cloud icon.
- The timer will resume its programmed schedule after the delay period ends.

4.5 Child Lock
To prevent accidental changes to your settings, activate the child lock.
- Press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the child lock.
- A lock icon will appear on the display when activated.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance.
- Periodically check the inlet filter for debris. A clogged filter can reduce water flow or cause leaks.
- To clean, unscrew the timer from the faucet, remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert.
- Wipe the exterior of the timer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD. The timer is designed to operate for approximately 6 months on 2 AA batteries.
- Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1.
- It is recommended to replace both batteries simultaneously.
5.3 Winter Storage
During freezing temperatures, remove the timer from the faucet and store it indoors to prevent damage from ice expansion.
