Press and hold the power button (usually the lower button on the front) for a few seconds until the LCD screen illuminates and displays the startup sequence.

  3. Initial Calibration (if prompted):

Some devices may require an initial warm-up or calibration. Follow any on-screen prompts. Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area, free from alcohol fumes, during this process.

Operating Instructions

The H9pro Alcohol Tester uses a non-contact blowing method for detection.

  1. Preparation:

Ensure at least 20 minutes have passed since your last alcoholic drink, smoking, or eating. Residual alcohol in the mouth can lead to inaccurate readings. Avoid testing in strong winds or enclosed spaces with poor ventilation.

  2. Initiating a Test:

With the device powered on, wait for the "Ready" or "Blow" prompt on the LCD screen. The device will typically enter a countdown or warm-up phase before it's ready for a sample.

  3. Providing a Breath Sample:

Place your mouth approximately 1-2 cm away from the gas receiving hole (usually located at the top of the device). Take a deep breath and blow steadily and continuously into the sensor for approximately 4 seconds until the device indicates the sample is complete (e.g., a beep or on-screen message).

  4. Reading Results:

After the sample is processed, your BAC reading will be displayed on the LCD screen. The device uses a color-coded alarm system:

    • Green Light (<0.01% BAC): Indicates safety.
    • Yellow Light (0.02% BAC - 0.05% BAC): Indicates warning.
    • Red Light (≥0.08% BAC): Indicates danger, accompanied by an audible alarm.
