4. Product Layout and Components

- Video In: BNC connector for video input from cameras.
- LED: Indicator light.
- Zoom-: Decreases zoom level.

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Battery Preparation
Before first use, ensure the transparent insulating paper is removed from the battery compartment to allow the battery to make contact. Charge the device fully using the provided DC 5V 1.5A adapter and USB cable.

5.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the device, slide the OFF/ON switch (17) to the ON position. To power off, slide it to the OFF position.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Camera Testing (AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS)
The IV5 supports testing for various HD coaxial camera types up to 8MP, as well as traditional analog CVBS cameras.
- Connect the camera's video output to the Video In (1) BNC port on the IV5 Test Monitor using the provided BNC cable.
- If the camera requires power, connect the DC 12V Out (14) from the IV5 to the camera's power input using the power output conversion cable.
- The video feed from the camera will automatically display on the 5-inch LCD screen. The monitor will automatically detect the camera type (AHD, TVI, CVI, or CVBS).
- Use the Zoom- (3) and Zoom+ (4) buttons to adjust the digital zoom of the displayed video.

6.2 PTZ Control
The IV5 can control PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras supporting Pelco-D / P protocols via the RS485 interface, and also offers UTC (Up The Coax) control for HD coaxial cameras.
- Connect the PTZ camera's RS485 port to the RS485 (12) port on the IV5 using the provided RS485 connector.
- Alternatively, for UTC control, ensure the HD coaxial camera is connected via the Video In (1) BNC port.
- Access the PTZ control menu (refer to the Instruction Manual for specific menu navigation).
- Use the Up (11), Down (10), Left (8), and Right (9) navigation buttons to control the camera's pan and tilt movements.
- Use the Zoom- (3) and Zoom+ (4) buttons to adjust the camera's optical zoom, focus, and aperture size.
- Note: While UTC supports PTZ control for HD coaxial cameras, it cannot access the camera's internal menu information.
6.3 UTP Cable Testing
The UTP Scan function allows for basic testing of network cables.
- Connect one end of the UTP cable to the UTP Scan (7) RJ45 port on the IV5.
- Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the menu for initiating the UTP cable test.

6.4 Audio Test
Connect an audio source to the Audio IN (15) port to test audio signals.
6.5 LED Lamp
The integrated LED lamp (13) can be activated to assist in low-light conditions during installation or maintenance. Refer to the device menu or dedicated button (if available) for LED lamp control.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device regularly, especially if it will be stored for extended periods.
- Avoid Impact: Protect the device from drops and impacts, which can damage the screen or internal components.
9. Troubleshooting
