1. Introduction

The Arzum Airtasty XL Hot Air Fryer (Model AR2074-B) is designed to cook a variety of foods using hot air circulation, reducing the need for excessive oil. This manual provides essential information for safe operation, setup, cooking, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your appliance.

2. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local mains voltage before connecting.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Supervise children closely when the appliance is in use.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before handling parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  • Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  • Ensure the basket is properly inserted before operating.
  • Hot air is released through the air outlet vent at the back of the appliance. Maintain a safe distance from the vent.

4. Before First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the air fryer.
  2. Cleaning: Wash the removable basket and crisper plate with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper air circulation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  4. Initial Run (Optional): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Digital Control Panel

The Arzum Airtasty XL features a digital touchscreen control panel for easy operation.

  • Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
  • Temperature Control: Adjusts the cooking temperature.
  • Time Control: Adjusts the cooking time.
  • Preset Program Icons: Select from 8 pre-programmed cooking settings for common foods.
  • Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses the cooking cycle.

5.2 General Operation

  1. Place the crisper plate inside the removable basket.
  2. Place your ingredients into the basket. Do not overfill.
  3. Slide the basket back into the main unit until it clicks into place.
  4. Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
  5. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
  6. Using Preset Programs: Select one of the 8 preset program icons. The appliance will automatically set the recommended time and temperature.
  7. Manual Operation: Alternatively, use the temperature and time control buttons to set your desired cooking parameters.
  8. Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
  9. During cooking, you may pull out the basket to shake or turn food. The appliance will pause automatically and resume when the basket is reinserted.
  10. Once the cooking time is complete, the appliance will beep. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a serving plate.

5.3 Cooking Tips

  • For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes before adding food.
  • Shake the basket halfway through cooking for even browning, especially for smaller items like fries or chicken wings.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Basket and Crisper Plate: These parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Main Unit: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Heating Element: If necessary, gently clean the heating element inside the appliance with a soft brush to remove any food residue.
  5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance in a cool, dry place.
