Setup Guide

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the microscope using the provided USB Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the microscope's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Assembling the Microscope

  1. Unfold the microscope stand to your desired observation angle.
  2. Insert the Hayve W1 microscope into the designated slot on the stand. Ensure it is securely seated.

3. Software Installation & Connection

For Mobile Devices (WiFi Connection):

  1. Download the "UniLab" application from your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
  2. Turn on the Hayve W1 microscope by pressing and holding the power button.
  3. On your mobile device, go to WiFi settings and connect to the microscope's WiFi hotspot (usually named "Hayve_W1_XXXX").
  4. Open the "UniLab" app. The microscope's live view should appear.

For Computers (USB Connection):

  1. Connect the microscope to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  2. For Windows: Open the default "Windows Camera" application. Select the microscope as the camera source.
  3. For Mac: Open the default "Photo Booth" application. Select the microscope as the camera source from the "Camera" menu.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the microscope to turn it on or off.

2. Adjusting Focus and Magnification

Rotate the focus wheel on the microscope body to achieve a clear image. Magnification is adjusted by changing the distance between the microscope lens and the object, and further digitally within the application.

3. Adjusting LED Illumination

The microscope features 8 built-in LEDs. Use the light control button on the microscope to cycle through different brightness levels (Off, 50%, 100%) to optimize illumination for your subject.

4. Capturing Photos and Videos

Within the "UniLab" app (or your computer's camera software), you can easily capture still images or record videos of your observations. Look for the camera or video recording icons within the application interface.
