1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in accidents or damage.

• Always ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label matches your mains voltage.
• Do not immerse the iron, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Keep the iron out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave the iron unattended while it is connected to the mains or cooling down.
• Always unplug the iron before filling or emptying the water tank, and when not in use.
• Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord or plug, or if the iron has been dropped or damaged.
• Place the iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface when resting.
• The soleplate can reach very high temperatures. Avoid contact with skin.
• Only use the iron for its intended purpose, which is ironing clothes.

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking

• Remove the iron from its packaging.
• Check for any damage. If the appliance is damaged, do not use it and contact customer service.
• Remove any protective films or stickers from the soleplate.

3.2 Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the iron is unplugged from the mains.
2. Set the steam control slider to the "Dry Ironing" position (no steam).
3. Open the water inlet cover.
4. Using a measuring cup, carefully fill the water tank with tap water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
5. Close the water inlet cover securely.

3.3 First Use

During the first use, a slight odor or smoke may be emitted. This is normal and will disappear after a short period. It is recommended to iron an old piece of fabric first to ensure no residue is transferred to your garments.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preparing for Ironing

• Sort clothes according to fabric type and recommended ironing temperature.
• Ensure the ironing board is stable and has a heat-resistant cover.
• Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet (260V, 50Hz).

4.2 Setting the Temperature

1. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting. Start with lower temperatures for delicate fabrics and increase for heavier materials.
2. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating.
3. Once the light turns off, the iron has reached the selected temperature and is ready for use.

4.3 Steam Ironing

• Ensure the water tank is filled.
• Set the temperature control dial to a steam-appropriate setting (usually indicated by steam symbols on the dial).
• Once the indicator light turns off, slide the steam control to the desired steam level.
• For stubborn wrinkles, press the Steam Shot Button for a powerful burst of 270 g/min steam. Wait a few seconds between bursts to allow the iron to reheat.
• The Power Steam technology provides continuous steam up to 70 g/min for effective ironing.

4.4 Dry Ironing

• Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control slider is set to the "Dry Ironing" position.
• Select the appropriate temperature for your fabric.
• Iron as usual.

4.5 Spray Function

Press the Spray Button to lightly moisten fabrics, which can help in smoothing out wrinkles, especially during dry ironing.

4.6 Vertical Steaming

The iron can be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments or drapes. Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the Steam Shot Button repeatedly. Ensure the iron is at a high temperature setting for optimal steam production.

4.7 Smart Auto OFF Safety System

For safety, the iron is equipped with a Smart Auto OFF system. If the iron is left stationary on its soleplate for approximately 30 seconds, or on its heel rest for approximately 8 minutes, it will automatically switch off. The indicator light will flash to signal this. To restart, simply move the iron.

5. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your iron.

5.1 After Each Use

• Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely.
• Empty any remaining water from the tank.
• Store the iron upright on its heel rest.

5.2 Cleaning the Soleplate

• Once the iron is cool, wipe the Turbo Slide soleplate with a damp cloth.
• For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive liquid cleaner specifically designed for iron soleplates.
• Do not use abrasive scourers or chemical cleaners as they can damage the soleplate.

5.3 Cyclo Clean Anti-Calc System

The integrated Cyclo Clean anti-calc system helps prevent limescale buildup, ensuring consistent steam performance. For optimal results, perform the self-cleaning function periodically (refer to the full manual for detailed steps, if available, or general self-clean instructions for irons):

1. Fill the water tank to the MAX line.
2. Set the iron to the maximum temperature and steam setting.
3. Once heated, hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
4. Press and hold the self-clean button (if present, otherwise use steam shot repeatedly) to flush out scale and impurities.
5. Repeat if necessary.

5.4 Drip Block Anti-Drip System

The Drip Block system prevents water from dripping onto your garments when ironing at low temperatures. If you notice dripping, ensure the iron has reached the correct temperature for steam ironing, or consider dry ironing for very delicate fabrics.
