Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Read the entire manual: Understand all instructions and warnings before operating the sander.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses, a dust mask, and hearing protection. Gloves are recommended.
- Ensure a safe work area: Keep the work area clean, well-lit, and free from clutter. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Secure the workpiece: Always clamp or otherwise secure the material being sanded to prevent movement during operation.
- Inspect the tool: Before each use, check the power cord, plug, and the sander for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Unplug when not in use: Disconnect the sander from the power source before making adjustments, changing accessories, or storing.
- Avoid accidental starting: Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in the tool.
- Maintain proper grip: Hold the sander firmly with both hands during operation.
- Do not overreach: Maintain proper footing and balance at all times.
- Keep children away: Do not allow children or untrained personnel to operate the sander.

Connecting Dust Collection
The sander offers two options for dust collection:
- Using the integrated dust tank: Attach the dust collection tank securely to the dust port on the sander. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Connecting to an external vacuum cleaner: If using an external vacuum, remove the dust tank and connect the vacuum hose to the dust port. Ensure a tight fit to maximize dust extraction efficiency.

Sanding Techniques
- Start before contact: Turn on the sander before placing it on the workpiece.
- Apply even pressure: Allow the sander's weight to do most of the work. Apply light, even pressure. Excessive pressure can reduce sanding efficiency and damage the surface or the tool.
- Move continuously: Move the sander in smooth, overlapping circular or back-and-forth motions across the surface. Avoid holding it in one spot for too long to prevent gouging.
- Observe dust collection: Regularly check the dust tank or vacuum system to ensure it is functioning effectively. Empty the dust tank when it is about two-thirds full.
- Finish after contact: Lift the sander from the workpiece before turning it off.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the sander before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the tool with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Clean the dust port and dust tank regularly to ensure optimal dust collection.
- Use compressed air to clear dust from ventilation openings.
Changing Sanding Discs
Sanding discs should be changed when they become worn, torn, or lose their abrasive effectiveness. Refer to the "Attaching Sanding Discs" section for instructions on how to replace them.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your sander, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Sander does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
- Inspect the power cord for any damage.
- Poor sanding performance:
- Replace the sanding disc if it is worn or clogged.
- Ensure you are using the correct grit for the material and desired finish.
- Apply light, even pressure; excessive pressure can hinder performance.
- Excessive dust:
- Check if the dust tank is properly attached and not full.
- If using a vacuum, ensure the hose connection is secure and the vacuum is operating correctly.
- Verify that the sanding disc holes align with the pad holes for effective dust extraction.
- Excessive vibration or noise:
- Ensure the sanding disc is properly centered and securely attached.
- Inspect the sanding pad for damage or wear.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact customer support for further assistance.
