6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Appliance does not turn on or is stuck in standby mode:
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the basket is fully inserted into the main unit. The appliance will not operate if the basket is not correctly closed. - Food is not cooked evenly:
Do not overfill the basket. Cook food in smaller batches if necessary. Shake the basket halfway through the cooking process for even results. Ensure the temperature and time settings are appropriate for the food type. - Touch panel is unresponsive:
Ensure your hands are clean and dry when operating the touch panel. Try pressing the desired icon firmly and directly. If the issue persists, unplug the appliance for a few minutes and then plug it back in to reset. - Basket/Drawer requires excessive force to close:
Ensure there is no food or debris obstructing the basket's path. Gently push the basket until it clicks into place. If the issue continues, inspect the rails for any damage. - White smoke coming from the appliance:
This is usually caused by grease residue from previous use or excessive fat from the food being cooked. Clean the basket and tray thoroughly after each use. Remove any excess oil from food before cooking.
