Care and Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your cooker hood.

Cleaning the Exterior

Cleaning/Replacing Grease Filters

The 5-layer aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain suction efficiency and prevent grease buildup.

  1. Switch off and unplug the cooker hood from the power supply.
  2. Locate the filter latches and release the aluminum grease filters.
  3. Wash the filters by hand in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher (ensure they are placed loosely to avoid damage).
  4. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before re-installing.
  5. Re-insert the dry filters, ensuring they click securely into place.

Replacing Carbon Filters

If your hood is used in recirculation mode (without external venting), the carbon filters absorb odors and should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
