Cleaning the Aluminum Grease Filter
The 5-layer aluminum grease filter should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain effective grease capture. It is dishwasher safe.

- Remove the grease filter by releasing its latches.
- Wash the filter by hand with warm soapy water or place it in a dishwasher.
- Ensure the filter is completely dry before re-installing.

Replacing the Carbon Filters
If your hood is operating in recirculation mode, the two Ø176 carbon filters need to be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage) as they cannot be washed.
- Turn off and unplug the hood.
- Remove the aluminum grease filters to access the carbon filters.
- Twist or unclip the old carbon filters and remove them.
- Install new carbon filters, ensuring they are securely in place.
- Re-install the aluminum grease filters.
