6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heater does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet faulty; mode dial set to OFF; overheat protection activated. | Ensure plug is fully inserted. Test outlet with another device. Set mode dial to WARM or HOT. Unplug, wait 30 minutes for cooling, then restart. |
| No heat output. | Mode dial set to COOL; thermostat set too low. | Set mode dial to WARM or HOT. Increase thermostat setting. |
| Heater cycles on and off frequently. | Thermostat setting reached; poor ventilation. | This is normal operation if the room temperature matches the thermostat setting. Ensure adequate clearance around the heater. |
| Unusual smell or noise. | New unit (initial use); dust accumulation. | A slight odor is normal during first use and will dissipate. Clean the heater thoroughly as per maintenance instructions. If problem persists, discontinue use and contact support. |
