5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your ceiling light fixture.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box. This is a critical safety step.
- Prepare Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the screws provided. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Wire Connections: Carefully connect the electrical wires. Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (live) wire from the junction box, the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box, and the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box (or to the green ground screw on the mounting plate). Secure connections with wire nuts.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box. Align the fixture base with the mounting plate and secure it with the provided screws.
- Install Bulbs: Screw five E26 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 40W per bulb.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed and bulbs are in place, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

6. Operating Instructions
Once installed, operate the light fixture using your standard wall switch. If you wish to utilize the dimming feature, ensure you have installed dimmable E26 bulbs and connected the fixture to a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately).

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Bulb Replacement: Always turn off the power before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool before handling. Replace with E26 base bulbs, not exceeding 40W per bulb.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear or damage. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.
