Introduction
The NEEWER BG-R10RC-L Vertical Battery Grip is designed to enhance the functionality and ergonomics of compatible Canon EOS mirrorless cameras. It provides extended battery life and improved handling for vertical shooting, along with a 2.4G wireless remote control for versatile operation.

This battery grip is exclusively compatible with the following Canon EOS mirrorless camera models:
- Canon EOS R5
- Canon EOS R5C
- Canon EOS R6
- Canon EOS R6 Mark II
Note: Cameras are not included with this product.

2.4G Remote Control Components
The included 2.4G wireless remote control offers convenient operation from a distance:

Installation Steps
Follow these steps to correctly attach the battery grip to your camera:
- Prepare Camera: Switch off the camera and remove the battery pack from the camera after removing its battery cover.
- Mount Battery Cover: Mount the camera's battery cover onto the dedicated slot on the battery grip. This secures the cover and prevents loss.
- Attach Grip: Align the battery grip with the camera's battery compartment and slide it into place using the guide bar.
- Secure Grip: Tighten the attachment screw on the battery grip into the camera's tripod socket until secure.

Operating Instructions
Powering the Grip (Dual Power Sources)
The battery grip supports two methods for power supply:
- LP-E6/LP-E6N/LP-E6NH Batteries: Install one or two compatible LP-E6 series batteries into the grip for extended outdoor use.
- DR-E6 DC Coupler (Dummy Battery): For continuous power during studio or prolonged shooting sessions, connect the battery grip to a wall socket using a DR-E6 DC coupler (dummy battery).
Note: LP-E6/LP-E6N/LP-E6NH batteries and DC coupler are sold separately. Remove batteries if the battery grip is not in use for a long time.

Using the 2.4G Remote Control
Sync the 2.4G remote control with the BG-R10 battery grip to operate your camera wirelessly from up to 131 feet (40 meters) away. Use the remote to select the number of continuous images, set shooting delay, exposure delay, and intervals. The backlit LCD screen on the remote provides a visual reference of your current settings.
Vertical Handheld Shooting
The contoured design of the battery grip provides a comfortable and firm hold, allowing for stable vertical shooting. The integrated shutter button, main dial, autofocus, and other essential function buttons on the grip enable you to capture vertical images with the same ease and control as horizontal shots.

Convenient Tripod Mounting
The battery grip features a 1/4" threaded hole on its base. This allows you to attach the camera and grip assembly directly to a tripod for stable, hands-free shooting in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

Maintenance
- Keep the battery grip clean and dry. Avoid exposure to dust, dirt, and moisture.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure electrical contacts are free from debris to maintain proper connection with the camera.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the grip to prevent leakage and damage.
- Store the grip in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Grip not powering on:
- Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and fully charged.
- Check that the battery slot switch is securely closed.
- Verify that the grip is properly attached to the camera and the electrical contacts are clean.
- Remote control not working:
- Check the remote's battery.
- Ensure the remote is within the operating range (up to 131 feet / 40 meters).
- Verify that the remote is properly synced with the battery grip.
- Camera not recognizing grip:
- Ensure the camera is switched off before attaching or detaching the grip.
- Re-attach the grip, ensuring a firm connection and that the mounting screw is tightened.
- Clean the electrical contacts on both the camera and the grip.
