3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Attaching the Ball Head to a Tripod or Monopod

1. Locate the 3/8 inch screw thread hole at the base of the ball head.
2. Align this thread with the mounting screw on your tripod, monopod, or slider.
3. Rotate the ball head clockwise until it is securely fastened. Ensure it is tightened sufficiently to prevent wobbling.

3.2 Attaching Your Camera

1. Ensure the quick release plate is detached from the ball head. If attached, loosen the Quick-Shoe Knob and slide the plate out.
2. Locate the 1/4 inch screw on the quick release plate.
3. Screw the quick release plate onto the 1/4 inch tripod socket on the bottom of your DSLR camera or camcorder. Tighten securely.
4. Slide the quick release plate with the attached camera back into the clamp on the ball head.
5. Tighten the Quick-Shoe Knob firmly to secure the camera in place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Camera Angle and Position

1. Ball Head Locking: To adjust the tilt and swivel of your camera, loosen the main Locking Knob. This allows the ball to move freely within its socket.
2. Position your camera to the desired angle.
3. Tighten the Locking Knob firmly to secure the camera in its new position. Ensure it is fully tightened to prevent movement, especially with heavier equipment.

4.2 Panoramic Rotation

1. To rotate the camera horizontally for panoramic shots, loosen the 360° Panning Knob located at the base of the ball head.
2. Rotate the camera to the desired panoramic position. The base features degree markings for precise alignment.
3. Tighten the 360° Panning Knob to lock the panoramic rotation.

4.3 Using the Bubble Level

• The integrated bubble level helps ensure your camera is perfectly horizontal.
• Adjust the tripod legs or the ball head's tilt until the bubble is centered within the level indicator.
