4. Operating Instructions
Locating Items Nearby (Play Sound)
When your item is within Bluetooth range (approximately 30m/200ft), you can use the 'Play Sound' feature in the Find My app to make your tag emit an 80-90dB beep, helping you pinpoint its exact location.

Locating Items Far Away (Find My Network)
If your item is out of Bluetooth range, the Apple Find My network leverages millions of Apple devices worldwide to anonymously detect your tag's location and update it on your map. You can then get directions to its last known location.

Anti-Lost Alarm Function
Enable the Anti-Lost Alarm mode in the Find My app. Your iOS device will emit an alarm if it disconnects from your AIYATO tag, preventing you from leaving important items behind.

Lost Mode and Privacy Protection
If you lose your tag, you can enable 'Lost Mode' in the Find My app. This allows you to leave contact information. If someone finds your tag and scans it with an NFC-capable smartphone, they can access your contact details. All data is protected by Apple MFi security.
Sharing Items (iOS 17+)
With iOS 17 or later, you can share your item's location with friends or family, allowing multiple users to track the same tag.

7. Troubleshooting
Unable to Connect or Pair
- Ensure your iOS device has Bluetooth enabled and is running iOS 15.0 or later.
- Make sure the tag's battery is properly installed and has sufficient charge.
- Bring the tag close to your iOS device during the pairing process.
- Resetting the Device: If connection issues persist, you may need to reset the device. Remove and reinsert the battery five times. After the fifth reinsertion, you should hear a different tone, indicating the battery is resetting and ready to pair with a new device. Then, attempt to reconnect via the Find My app.

Sound is Not Loud Enough
- The tag's buzzer is designed to be audible in quiet to moderately noisy environments. For very noisy areas or if the tag is deeply buried, visual tracking on the map may be more effective.
Inaccurate Location
- Location accuracy depends on the density of Apple devices in the vicinity of your tag. In areas with fewer devices, the location might be less precise.
- Ensure your iOS device has a stable internet connection for the most up-to-date location information.
