This intelligent cleaning device combines powerful vacuuming with efficient mopping, utilizing advanced Lidar navigation and smart features to keep your home spotless. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not allow children to play with the robot. Supervise children and pets when the robot is operating.
  • Use only the charging adapter provided by the manufacturer.
  • Ensure the power voltage is compatible with the robot's requirements.
  • Do not operate the robot in wet environments or near water.
  • Remove any loose cables, small objects, or fragile items from the cleaning path to prevent entanglement or damage.
  • Do not use the robot to pick up large debris, liquids, or burning objects.
  • Regularly clean the brushes and filters to maintain optimal performance.
  • Turn off the robot and unplug the charging base before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Preparation

  1. Remove the robot and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any protective films or stickers from the robot and charging base.
  3. Install the side brushes by pressing them onto the posts on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.

2. Placing the Charging Base

  1. Place the charging base against a wall in an open, uncluttered area.
  2. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on either side of the charging base and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a wall outlet.

3. Initial Charge

  1. Place the robot on the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts align.
  2. The robot will begin charging automatically. Allow it to fully charge before its first use (approximately 4-5 hours).
  3. The indicator lights on the robot will show its charging status.

4. App and Voice Control Setup

  1. Download the "Lefant" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register an account and add your Lefant M1 robot.
  3. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the robot only supports this frequency.
  4. For voice control, link your Lefant account with Amazon Alexa or Google Home through their respective apps.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting a Cleaning Cycle

  • Manual Start: Press the power button on the robot once to start a cleaning cycle.
  • App Control: Open the Lefant app, select your M1 robot, and tap "Start Cleaning."
  • Voice Command: Use a compatible voice assistant (Alexa/Google Home) with commands like "Alexa, tell Lefant to start cleaning."

2. Lidar Navigation and Real-time Mapping

The Lefant M1 uses Lidar navigation to scan and create a real-time map of your home. This allows for efficient cleaning paths and avoids repeating areas. You can view the robot's cleaning route and map within the Lefant app.

3. Cleaning Modes and Features

  • Auto Cleaning: The robot intelligently cleans your entire home.
  • Spot Cleaning: Direct the robot to clean a specific area with concentrated effort.
  • Zoned Cleaning: Define specific zones on the app map for the robot to clean.
  • No-Go Zones & Virtual Walls: Set virtual boundaries in the app to prevent the robot from entering certain areas (e.g., pet areas, fragile zones).
  • Adjustable Suction: Choose from multiple suction levels (up to 4000Pa) via the app to suit different cleaning needs.
  • Adjustable Water Output: For mopping, select from 3 water output levels to match floor types and cleaning requirements.

4. Vacuuming and Mopping

The M1 is equipped with a 520ml dustbin and a 160ml electric water tank, allowing for simultaneous vacuuming and mopping. The floating main brush and mop automatically adapt to uneven ground, ensuring effective cleaning on various surfaces including hard floors, carpets, and tiles.

5. Self-Charging

When the battery is low, the robot will automatically return to its charging base to recharge. It can cover up to 200 square meters or 150 minutes of cleaning time on a full charge.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Lefant M1.

1. Cleaning the Dustbin and Filter

  1. Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
  2. Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash bin.
  3. Remove the filter and tap it gently to remove dust. Rinse the filter under running water if necessary, ensuring it is completely dry before re-inserting.
  4. Wipe the inside of the dustbin with a dry cloth.
  5. Re-install the filter and close the dustbin cover. Insert the dustbin back into the robot until it clicks.

2. Cleaning the Mop Pad and Water Tank

  1. Remove the mop pad plate from the robot.
  2. Detach the mop pad from the plate. Wash reusable mop pads by hand or machine. Dispose of disposable mop pads.
  3. Empty any remaining water from the water tank. Rinse the tank and allow it to air dry completely.
  4. Reattach a clean mop pad to the plate and re-install the plate onto the robot.

3. Cleaning Side Brushes and Main Brush

  • Regularly check side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Pull them off and clean as needed.
  • Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove tangled hair.
  • Re-install the main brush and cover.

4. Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe all sensors (Lidar, anti-drop, anti-collision) and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging base with a clean, dry cloth.

Troubleshooting
