Setup

1. Inserting/Removing TF Card

The 32GB TF card is typically pre-inserted. If you need to remove or re-insert it:

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently push the TF card until it clicks to release it. Pull it out.
  3. To insert, align the card correctly and push it into the slot until it clicks into place.

2. Charging the Camera

The camera is equipped with a 1000mAh Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging typically takes 1-2 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off.

3. Attaching the Lanyard

The adjustable lanyard helps prevent accidental drops and allows for easy carrying.

  1. Thread the thin loop of the lanyard through the designated loop hole on the camera's silicone case.
  2. Pass the larger part of the lanyard through the thin loop and pull tight to secure.

4. Setting Date and Time

It is recommended to set the correct date and time for accurate timestamps on your photos and videos.

  1. Power on the camera.
  2. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu using the directional buttons.
  3. Select 'Date Time' and adjust to your local time.

Operating the Camera

1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the top or side) for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off.

2. Taking Photos (180° Flip Lens)

The unique 180° flip lens allows for easy switching between front-facing (selfie) and rear-facing photography.

  1. To take a regular photo, ensure the lens is facing forward.
  2. To take a selfie, simply flip the lens upwards 180 degrees. The screen will automatically adjust to show the front view.
  3. Press the shutter button (usually the large button on top) to capture the image.

3. Recording Videos

The camera supports 1080P HD video recording.

  1. From the main menu, select the 'Video' icon.
  2. Press the shutter button to start recording. A red indicator will usually appear on the screen.
  3. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.

4. Playback/Viewing Media

Review your captured photos and videos directly on the 2.4-inch IPS screen.

  1. From the main menu, select the 'Playback' icon (often a play symbol).
  2. Use the directional buttons to scroll through your photos and videos.
  3. Press the shutter button to view a selected item or play a video.

5. Applying Filters and Frames

Enhance your photos with various fun filters and frames.

  1. While in photo mode, use the directional buttons to cycle through available filters and frames.
  2. Select your desired filter/frame before pressing the shutter button.

6. Playing Games

The camera includes 10 educational games for entertainment.

  1. From the main menu, select the 'Games' icon (often a gamepad symbol).
  2. Use the directional buttons to select a game and press the shutter button to start.

7. Music Playback

Enjoy music and stories by transferring MP3 files to the camera.

  1. Connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable.
  2. Drag and drop MP3 files into the 'Sound' folder on the camera's TF card.
  3. From the main menu, select the 'Music' icon (often a music note symbol) to play your files.

8. Transferring Files

You can transfer photos and videos to a computer using two methods:

  1. Direct USB Connection: Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to copy files.
  2. Using the Card Reader: Remove the TF card from the camera and insert it into the provided card reader. Plug the card reader into your computer's USB port to access the files.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and screen.
  • For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Keep the lens clean to ensure clear photos.

2. Battery Care

  • Charge the camera fully before first use.

Troubleshooting

Camera Not Turning On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
  • Press and hold the power button for a longer duration (5-10 seconds).

Unable to Take Photos/Record Videos

  • Check if the TF card is correctly inserted.
  • Ensure there is sufficient space on the TF card. Delete old files if necessary.
  • Check battery level.

Poor Image/Video Quality

  • Clean the camera lens gently with a soft cloth.
  • Ensure adequate lighting when taking photos or videos.
