2. Safety Instructions
Your Karinear Induction Cooktop is designed with multiple safety features. Adhere to the following guidelines to prevent injury or damage:
- Electrical Connection: This appliance requires a 220-240V hardwire connection and does not come with a plug. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.
- Child Safety Lock: Activate the child safety lock to prevent accidental operation by children.
- Over-Temperature Protection: The cooktop is equipped with a sensor that will automatically shut down the unit if it detects excessive temperatures.
- Automatic Shutdown Protection: If a cooking zone is left on for an extended period without user interaction, it will automatically shut off.
- Hot Surface Indicator: An indicator light will remain illuminated until the cooktop surface has cooled to a safe temperature.
- Compatible Cookware: Only use magnetic cookware suitable for induction cooking, such as enameled cast iron, stainless steel, cast iron, and nickel cookware. Avoid cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.
