2.3 Wiring Connections

The CA-AEC02 utilizes a simple speaker-level harness for installation, eliminating the need for soldering or complex additional wiring. This design helps prevent sound feedback often caused by intricate wiring and grounding issues.

  • Power Connection: Connect the B+/GND auxiliary power cable directly to the car battery to ensure a stable power supply.
  • Speaker-Level Input: Connect the amplifier to your head unit's speaker outputs using the provided harness.
  • Speaker Output: Connect your car speakers to the amplifier's output terminals.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ATOTO CA-AEC02 Power Pack Amplifier, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Check all power connections, including the B+/GND cable to the car battery. Ensure the fuse is intact.
  • No Sound: Verify all speaker-level input and output connections. Check the head unit's audio output and the amplifier's gain settings.
  • Distorted Sound: Adjust the variable gain control to match your head unit's output. Ensure speaker impedance is compatible.
  • Overheating: Ensure the amplifier has adequate ventilation. Clear any obstructions around the fan airflow guidance cover.
  • SPDIF Input Issues: Confirm the SPDIF cable is securely connected and your head unit is configured to output audio via SPDIF.

If problems persist, please contact ATOTO customer support for further assistance.
