The TOTAL P20S 20V Cordless Brushless Angle Grinder is designed for cutting, grinding, and polishing various materials using appropriate 115mm diameter discs. It is suitable for both DIY and professional applications. This tool is intended for use with TOTAL P20S series 20V batteries and chargers (sold separately).
1.2 General Safety Information
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves when operating the angle grinder. Ensure the work area is clear of obstructions and well-ventilated. Disconnect the battery before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or performing maintenance. 2.1 Key Features

3. Setup
3.1 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
- Identify the threaded holes on the grinder head.
- Screw the auxiliary non-slip handle into the desired position (left or right side) until it is securely tightened.
3.2 Battery Installation and Removal
Note: The 20V P20S battery and charger are sold separately.
- Installation: Align the battery pack with the battery slot at the base of the grinder. Slide the battery into the slot until it clicks securely into place.
- Removal: Press the battery release button (if present) and slide the battery pack out of the tool.
3.3 Installing and Removing Grinding/Cutting Discs
Note: Grinding/cutting discs are not included with the tool.
- Ensure the battery is removed from the tool.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button to prevent the spindle from rotating.
- Use the provided wrench to loosen and remove the outer flange nut.
- Place the desired 115mm disc onto the spindle, ensuring it sits correctly on the inner flange.
- Replace the outer flange nut and tighten it securely with the wrench while holding the spindle lock button.
- To remove the disc, reverse these steps.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To Turn On: Ensure a charged battery is installed. Press the safety lock button (if applicable) and then squeeze the trigger switch.
- To Turn Off: Release the trigger switch.
4.2 Basic Operation
Always hold the angle grinder firmly with both hands, using the main handle and the auxiliary handle. Allow the disc to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece. Apply light, even pressure and let the tool do the work. Avoid excessive force, which can lead to kickback or damage to the disc and tool.

4.3 Cutting and Grinding Techniques
- Cutting: Use a thin cutting disc. Position the workpiece securely. Make shallow passes, allowing the disc to cut through the material gradually.
- Grinding: Use a thicker grinding disc. Hold the grinder at a slight angle (typically 15-30 degrees) to the workpiece. Move the grinder back and forth evenly across the surface.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Always remove the battery before cleaning.
- Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean dust and debris from the ventilation openings and around the spindle.
- Wipe the tool housing with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Storage
Store the angle grinder in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is removed from the tool before storage.
