Maintenance
Cleaning:
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel parts, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Water Resistance:
This watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
Battery Replacement:
The watch is powered by a Lithium Ion battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to jump erratically (indicating low battery), it is time for a battery replacement. It is highly recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Crystal Care:
The watch features a metalized domed mineral crystal. While durable, it is not scratch-proof. Avoid impacts and contact with abrasive surfaces to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running:
Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement. - Chronograph hands not resetting to zero:
Follow the "Chronograph Hand Reset" procedure in the Setup section. - Date/Day changes at noon instead of midnight:
This indicates the time is set incorrectly for AM/PM. Advance the time by 12 hours. - Condensation inside the crystal:
This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Have the watch inspected by a professional watchmaker immediately.
