4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Battery
Before initial use, ensure the camera's built-in 12000mAh battery is sufficiently charged. The solar panel will continuously charge the battery, but a full charge via USB (if available, not explicitly stated but common) or direct sunlight for several hours is recommended for the first setup.
4.2 App Installation and Registration
The camera operates via the UBOX App. Download the UBOX App from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
- Download and install the UBOX App.

4.3 Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi
Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- In the UBOX App, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select your camera model or choose "Add Device Manually".
- Power on the camera. The camera's indicator light should blink, indicating it's ready for pairing.
- The app will display a QR code. Position your phone's screen approximately 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) in front of the camera lens. The camera will scan the QR code to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Once connected, the camera will emit a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will turn solid.
- Follow the remaining prompts in the app to name your camera and complete the setup.
4.4 Installation
The camera offers multiple installation methods. Choose the method that best suits your environment. The recommended installation height is between 6.5ft - 8.2ft (2m - 2.5m).
- Integrated Installation: Mount the camera and solar panel together using the provided bracket and screws. This is ideal for locations with direct sunlight exposure.
- Extended Installation: Use the 5m long cable to separate the solar panel from the camera. This allows you to mount the camera in a shaded area while placing the solar panel in a location with optimal sunlight.
Ensure the camera is mounted securely and the solar panel receives at least 2-3 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal charging.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View and PTZ Control
Access the live video feed from your camera through the UBOX App. You can remotely control the camera's pan and tilt functions to adjust the viewing angle.
- Open the UBOX App and select your camera from the device list.
- Use the on-screen controls to pan the camera 350° horizontally and tilt it 90° vertically.
- The camera also supports 3X digital zoom for closer inspection of details.

5.2 Two-Way Audio
The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way communication.
- From the live view in the UBOX App, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera.
- Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's location.

5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera utilizes a highly sensitive PIR human body motion sensor to detect movement and reduce false alarms.
- When motion is detected, the camera will automatically begin recording.
- You will receive instant push notifications on your smartphone via the UBOX App.
- The camera can also activate red and blue light alerts and a sound alarm to deter intruders.
- Adjust detection sensitivity and set recording schedules within the UBOX App settings.

5.4 Night Vision
The camera offers both color and infrared (IR) night vision modes for clear monitoring in low-light conditions.
- Color Night Vision: Equipped with two floodlights (10 LEDs), the camera can provide full-color video even in darkness.
- IR Night Vision: For discreet monitoring, the camera can switch to infrared mode, providing clear black-and-white video up to 95 feet (30 meters).
- The camera senses ambient light and automatically switches between day and night modes.

5.5 Video Storage
Recorded video clips can be stored locally or in the cloud.

- Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. The recommended distance between the camera and router is within 164 ft (50 m). Walls can affect signal strength.
- Restart your router and the camera.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password entered in the UBOX App is correct.
- Poor video quality or blurry images:
- Clean the camera lens with a soft cloth.
- Ensure adequate lighting, especially for color night vision.
- Check your Wi-Fi connection stability.
- Motion detection not working or false alarms:
- Adjust the PIR motion detection sensitivity in the UBOX App settings.
- Ensure the camera's view is clear of moving objects like tree branches that could trigger false alarms.
- Verify the detection schedule is correctly configured.
- Battery not charging:
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and free of obstructions.
- Reposition the solar panel to receive direct sunlight for at least 2-3 hours daily.
- Check the connection between the solar panel and the camera.
- Two-way audio issues:
- Ensure microphone and speaker permissions are enabled for the UBOX App on your smartphone.
- Check the volume settings on your phone and within the app.
