3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your Diydeg Crane Remote Control System.

3.1. Remote Control Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the 12-button remote control.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two (2) AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity. (Note: Batteries are not included and must be supplied by the user.)
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. Controller Receiver Connections

The 12-channel wireless controller receiver requires power and connection to the load. Ensure all connections are made with power disconnected to prevent electrical hazards.

  1. Antenna Connection: Connect the 433M SMA Antenna to the SMA antenna interface on the receiver.
  2. Power Connection: Connect a DC 12V or 24V power supply to the VCC and GND terminals of the receiver. The power interface is typically a DC5.5x2.1 connector.

3.3. Pairing and Learning Keys

The remote control includes a magnetic key. This key is typically used as a safety feature or to enable/disable the remote's operation. Snap on the magnetic key when in use to activate the remote, and remove it to disable or power off the remote, preventing accidental operation.
