Safety Information

  • Ensure the receiver is plugged into a standard electrical outlet within the specified voltage range (240 Volts).
  • Keep the device away from water and high humidity to prevent damage. The sensor has an IP44 waterproof rating, but the receiver is not waterproof.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to qualified personnel for service.
  • Keep batteries out of reach of children. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
  • Avoid placing the sensor or receiver near strong magnetic fields or sources of radio interference, which may affect performance.

Product Overview

Components

  • 1 x Wireless Receiver: Plugs into a standard wall outlet and produces the chime sound.
  • 1 x Wireless Door Sensor (two parts): Consists of a main sensor unit and a smaller magnetic unit. These units detect when a door or window is opened.

Key Features

  • Extended Range: Up to 800ft (240m) operating range in open areas.
  • Multiple Chimes: 20 different ringtones available.
  • Adjustable Volume: 5 levels of volume adjustment, from 0dB (mute) to 110dB.
  • LED Indicator: Visual alert for sound-impaired users or in noisy environments.
  • Easy Installation: Wireless design with adhesive tape for quick setup.
  • Durable Sensor: IP44 waterproof rating for the sensor, suitable for various weather conditions.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Install the Receiver

  1. Unpack the receiver unit.
  2. Plug the receiver into any standard electrical outlet. Ensure it is within the desired range of the sensor.

Step 2: Install the Door Sensor

  1. Identify the two parts of the door sensor: the main unit and the smaller magnetic unit.
  2. Ensure the sensor's battery tab (if present) is removed to activate the battery. The sensor comes with a 12V battery included.
  3. Clean the surface where the sensor will be mounted (door/window frame and the moving part of the door/window).
  4. Peel off the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of both sensor parts.
  5. Attach the main sensor unit to the fixed part of the door or window frame.
  6. Attach the magnetic unit to the moving part of the door or window, aligning it with the main sensor unit. The two parts must be less than 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) apart when the door/window is closed.

Step 3: Pairing the Sensor and Receiver (Pre-paired from factory)

The sensor and receiver are typically pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is needed or for adding additional sensors:

  1. On the receiver, press the "forward" or "backward" button to select your desired melody.
  2. Long press the volume button on the receiver for 5-7 seconds until the receiver emits a "ding" sound and its LED indicator blinks rapidly. This indicates it is in pairing mode.
  3. Quickly separate the two parts of the door sensor (open the door/window) to activate the transmitter and send a signal to the receiver.
  4. Upon successful pairing, the receiver will sound the selected melody, indicating that the door or window has been opened.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Volume

  • The receiver has 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (mute) to 110dB.
  • Press the volume button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the different volume levels. Select the level appropriate for your environment.

Changing Ringtones

  • The receiver offers 20 different ringtones.
  • Use the "forward" (up arrow) and "backward" (down arrow) buttons on the side of the receiver to browse and select your preferred chime melody.

General Operation

  • When the door or window where the sensor is installed opens, the two parts of the sensor separate.
  • This separation triggers the sensor to send a wireless signal to the receiver.
  • The receiver then plays the selected chime melody and its LED indicator flashes, alerting you to the opening.
  • The system is designed for long-distance operation, suitable for homes, businesses, and stores.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement (Sensor)

The door sensor is powered by a CR2450 lithium battery. While designed for long life (up to 100,000 uses or 3-5 years), eventual replacement will be necessary.

  1. Locate the small notch or opening on the side of the sensor unit.
  2. Carefully use a small screwdriver to pry open the sensor casing.
  3. Remove the old CR2450 battery.
  4. Insert a new CR2450 lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Snap the sensor casing back together securely.
