Setup Instructions

1. Connect N64 Controllers: Plug your N64 controllers into the two ports on the Hyperkin adapter.
2. Select Mode: Locate the compatibility switch on the back of the adapter.
   • For PC/Mac: Set the switch to the "PC" position.
   • For Nintendo Switch: Set the switch to the "CONSOLE" position.

Operating Instructions

Using with PC/Mac:

1. Ensure the compatibility switch on the adapter is set to "PC".
2. Connect the adapter to your PC/Mac via USB. Your operating system should automatically detect the device.
3. Launch your desired game or emulator. You may need to manually map the N64 controller buttons within the game or emulator settings for optimal functionality.

Using with Nintendo Switch:

1. Ensure the compatibility switch on the adapter is set to "CONSOLE".
2. Connect the adapter to an available USB port on your Nintendo Switch dock.
3. On the adapter, you will find a Home button and a Minus button. These buttons replicate the functionality of the respective buttons on a standard Switch controller for navigation and in-game actions.
4. Navigate to the "Controllers" menu on your Nintendo Switch. It is recommended to re-order the controllers, making the N64 controller(s) primary, and/or turn off other connected Switch controllers to avoid conflicts.

Troubleshooting

• Controller Not Detected:
  • Verify that the compatibility switch on the adapter is set to the correct mode (PC or CONSOLE).
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the adapter and your device.
  • Try connecting the adapter to a different USB port.
