Care and Maintenance

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, discard used coffee grounds and rinse the reusable filter and carafe. The carafe and filter are dishwasher safe (top rack only) or can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits can build up in your coffee maker, affecting performance. Descale your appliance regularly (e.g., every 2-3 months, or more frequently in hard water areas). Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for coffee makers, following the product's instructions. Alternatively, a solution of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio) can be used. Run a full brew cycle with the descaling solution, then run several cycles with fresh water to rinse thoroughly.
