The SMEG SMF03 Stand Mixer features a powerful 600W motor and 10-speed settings for precise control over your mixing tasks. The planetary mixing action ensures thorough and consistent results.

- Plug In: Ensure the speed control knob is set to '0' (OFF) before plugging the mixer into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Select Speed: Turn the speed control knob to the desired speed setting (1-10). Start at a lower speed and gradually increase as needed to prevent splashing.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your SMEG SMF03 Stand Mixer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Mixer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet issue; speed knob not at '0'. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check that the speed control knob is set to '0' before turning on. |
| Attachments do not fit or are difficult to attach. | Incorrect alignment; debris in shaft. | Ensure the mixer head is fully tilted back. Align the attachment correctly with the shaft and push upwards, then turn clockwise until it locks. Check for any obstructions in the shaft. |
| Mixer makes unusual noise during operation. | Overload; improper assembly; normal operating sound. | Reduce the load if mixing very thick dough. Ensure the bowl and attachment are correctly secured. Some operational noise is normal. If the noise is excessive or new, discontinue use and contact support. |
| Ingredients are not mixing thoroughly. | Incorrect attachment; insufficient mixing time; too much ingredient. | Ensure the correct attachment is used for the task. Increase mixing time or scrape down the sides of the bowl if necessary. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the bowl. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact SMEG customer support.
