Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your fan.
- Cleaning Fan Blades and Grill: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the fan blades and protective grill. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the fan in water.
- Cleaning Misting Nozzles: Over time, mineral deposits from hard water can clog the misting nozzles. Regularly inspect and clean the nozzles. You may need to use a small brush or a solution of vinegar and water to remove deposits. Consider using a calcium filter on your water supply to prevent clogging.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, especially during off-season, disconnect the water supply and power. Clean the fan thoroughly, allow it to dry completely, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
