4. Setup and Installation

The WISSENERGY Wallbox is designed for easy wall mounting. Refer to the included installation positioning plan and punching template for precise placement.

1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable indoor or outdoor location near your parking spot, ensuring it is within reach of the 6-meter charging cable. The IP66 rating allows for outdoor installation.
2. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Ensure the wall surface is sturdy and can support the weight of the charging station.
3. Mark Drilling Points: Use the provided template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
4. Drill Holes and Install Anchors: Drill holes at the marked points and insert appropriate wall anchors.
5. Mount the Bracket: Secure the wall mounting bracket to the wall using screws.
6. Mount the Wallbox: Carefully attach the WISSENERGY Wallbox to the installed bracket.
7. Electrical Connection: Connect the wallbox to your electrical supply. This step must be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure the power supply matches the station's requirements (230 Volts AC, 32 Amps for 7.4kW model).

5. Operating Instructions

The WISSENERGY Wallbox features a simple Plug & Play operation.

1. Connect to Vehicle: Open the charging port on your electric vehicle. Take the Type 2 connector from the WISSENERGY Wallbox and firmly insert it into your vehicle's charging port.
2. Initiate Charging: The Wallbox will automatically detect the connection and begin the charging process. Some models may have a start button; press it if necessary. The LED indicator on the wallbox will show the charging status.
3. Monitor Charging: You can monitor the charging progress through your vehicle's dashboard or a compatible EV charging app if your vehicle supports it.
4. Stop Charging: To stop charging, simply disconnect the Type 2 connector from your vehicle. Ensure the vehicle's charging port is unlocked before attempting to remove the connector.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the charging station with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is powered off before cleaning.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the charging cable and connector for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.
• Environmental Protection: Thanks to its IP66 rating, the wallbox is protected against dust and strong jets of water, making it suitable for various weather conditions. However, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme conditions if possible.
