Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the YABER YR200. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the jump starter's input port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator lights will show the charging progress. All four lights will be solid when fully charged.
Checking Battery Level
Press the power button once to check the remaining battery level. The LED indicators will light up to show the current charge:
- 1 LED: 0-25%
- 2 LEDs: 25-50%
- 3 LEDs: 50-75%
- 4 LEDs: 75-100%
For optimal performance, ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
Operation
Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Connect Smart Clip: Insert the blue plug of the smart jumper clamps into the jump starter's 12V output port. Ensure it is fully inserted.
- Connect to Vehicle Battery: Attach the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
- Check Indicator: The indicator light on the smart clamp should turn solid green, indicating a correct and safe connection. If it flashes green and red alternately, or clicks, this is normal behavior for some units indicating readiness. If it shows a solid red light or beeps continuously, check the connections for reverse polarity or short circuit.
- Start Engine: Once the indicator is solid green, start your vehicle's engine. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds. If the vehicle does not start, wait at least 30 seconds before attempting again.
- Remove Clamps: As soon as the engine starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery terminals, then disconnect the smart clip from the jump starter.

Force Start Function
If the smart clamp indicator does not turn solid green (e.g., due to a deeply discharged battery), you may use the 'Force Start' button. Press and hold the 'Force Start' button on the smart clamp for 3 seconds until the indicator turns solid green. This bypasses some safety checks, so use with extreme caution and only when absolutely necessary. Proceed to start the engine immediately after activating force start.
Using as a Power Bank
The YABER YR200 can charge various USB-powered devices. Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB output port on the jump starter. The device will automatically begin charging. The LED indicators will show the remaining power of the jump starter.

The 12000mAh capacity allows the jump starter to double as a portable power bank for your electronic devices.
Using the LED Flashlight
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the LED flashlight. Press the power button again to cycle through the modes:
- Illumination: Standard steady light for general use.
- SOS: Flashes the international Morse code signal for distress (three short, three long, three short).
- Strobe: Rapid flashing light for signaling or disorienting.
To turn off the flashlight, press the power button until it cycles past the strobe mode, or press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds.

The integrated LED flashlight provides illumination, SOS, and strobe modes for various emergency and utility needs.
Maintenance
- Recharging: Recharge the jump starter every 3-6 months, even if not used, to maintain battery health and extend its lifespan.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials. The ideal storage temperature is between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and 104°F).
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water and Dust Resistance: While IP66 rated, ensure all port covers are securely closed to maintain water and dust resistance. Avoid submerging the unit in water.

The YABER Jump Starter is built to withstand water splashes and dust, but proper care and secure port covers are essential for maintaining its IP66 rating.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Jump starter does not turn on or charge. | Battery fully depleted; faulty charging cable/adapter. | Ensure the unit is charged using a working USB cable and adapter. Allow a few minutes for the charging indicator to appear if deeply discharged. |
| Vehicle does not start after connecting. | Incorrect connection; jump starter battery too low; vehicle battery too deeply discharged; engine issues. | Ensure clamps are connected correctly (red to +, black to -). Check jump starter battery level (should be >50%). Use 'Force Start' if vehicle battery is very low. Consult a mechanic if the vehicle still doesn't start. |
| Smart clamp indicator flashes green and red alternately, or makes an audible click. | Normal standby behavior for some units. | This indicates the unit is ready. Proceed with starting the vehicle. |
| Smart clamp indicator is solid red or beeps continuously. | Reverse polarity; short circuit; over-temperature. | Disconnect immediately. Recheck clamp connections for correct polarity. Ensure clamps are not touching each other or other metal parts. Allow unit to cool down if hot. |
| 'Force Start' button usage. | Vehicle battery too low for automatic detection. | Press and hold the 'Force Start' button for 3 seconds until the indicator turns solid green. Start the engine immediately. Use with caution. |
