2. Setup Guide
2.1 Package Contents
Before assembly, verify that all items are present in the package:

2.2 Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your DM9H Digital Microscope:
- Attach the vertical stand pole to the base, securing it firmly.
- Slide the microscope unit's mounting bracket onto the stand pole.
- Tighten the adjustment knob on the bracket to secure the microscope at the desired height.
- Connect the flexible LED lights to the base and position them to illuminate the observation area.

2.3 Initial Power On and Charging
The microscope includes a built-in Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the microscope's charging port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Display and Screen Adjustment
The DM9H features a 7-inch IPS screen with a 178° viewing angle, providing clear and vibrant images. The screen can be adjusted up to 90 degrees for optimal viewing comfort.

3.2 Magnification Adjustment
The DM9H offers continuous zoom from 2X to 1200X. Rotate the focus wheel on the microscope unit to adjust the magnification and achieve a clear image of your specimen.

3.3 Lighting Control
The microscope is equipped with 8 built-in LEDs around the lens and 2 adjustable side lights on the base. Use the light control buttons on the base to adjust the brightness and direction of the side lights for optimal illumination of your subject.

3.4 External Connectivity (HDMI & USB)
The DM9H supports connection to larger displays via HDMI and to computers via USB for enhanced viewing and data transfer.
- HDMI Output: Connect an HDMI cable from the microscope to a TV or monitor for real-time, high-resolution viewing. This allows for detailed inspection on a larger screen.
- USB Connection: Connect the microscope to a Windows PC or Mac using the USB cable. For Windows 10, use the default "Camera" app. For Mac, use the default "Photo Booth" app. This enables detailed examination and data transfer.

3.5 Image and Video Capture
The DM9H allows you to capture high-quality images and videos of your observations. The included 32GB Micro SD card provides ample storage for your recordings. Insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot on the microscope unit.

Use the buttons on the microscope or the wireless remote control to switch between photo and video modes and initiate capture. Captured files can be transferred to other devices via the Micro SD card or USB connection.

3.6 Adjustable Stand Operation
The 8.5-inch adjustable stand provides a maximum distance of 6.8 inches between the lens and the base, allowing for a wider field of view (up to 30mm in diameter). This is particularly useful for observing larger objects like entire coins without needing additional extension tubes.

The stand also allows for various angles and perspectives, providing flexibility for different observation needs.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Always power off and unplug the microscope before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the microscope and stand.
- For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the device.
4.2 Storage
- Store the microscope in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50% to prolong its lifespan.
- Keep the lens cap on to protect the lens from dust and scratches.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Leipan DM9H microscope, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power/Device Not Turning On:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect the Type-C cable and allow sufficient charging time.
- Verify that the power button is pressed firmly and held for a few seconds to power on the device.
- No Image on Screen/External Display:
- Check all cable connections (HDMI, USB) to ensure they are secure.
- If using an external display, confirm the display's input source is correctly set to the connected HDMI or USB port.
- Adjust the focus wheel on the microscope unit to bring the image into clarity.
- Ensure adequate lighting from the built-in LEDs and side lights.
- Unclear or Blurry Image:
- Adjust the focus wheel carefully.
- Ensure the specimen is placed flat on the base and within the microscope's working distance.
- Clean the microscope lens if there is any dust or smudges.
- Adjust the lighting to eliminate shadows or glare.
- Difficulty Viewing Entire Coin/Large Objects:
- Utilize the 8.5-inch adjustable stand to increase the distance between the lens and the base.
- In photo mode, select 2M resolution to observe the entire coin, as noted in the product features.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the microscope.
- Check the remote's battery (if applicable, though this model uses a wired remote according to some images, the video shows wireless). If it's a wired remote, ensure the connection is secure.
