• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• The fireplace is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device that will shut off the unit if it overheats.

3.1 Choosing an Installation Method

Decide whether you prefer a flush, built-in look (recessed) or a surface-mounted installation. Ensure the chosen location has a suitable power outlet and is away from combustible materials.

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Location Selection: Choose a dry, non-combustible location. For recessed installation, ensure the wall opening matches the fireplace dimensions. For wall-mounted, ensure the wall can support the unit's weight.
3. Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type.
4. Fireplace Placement: Carefully lift and place the fireplace onto the mounting bracket or into the recessed opening. Secure it according to the specific instructions for your chosen installation type.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The Mystflame Crystal 60 electric fireplace offers various settings for heat and flame effects, controllable via the touch screen panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The fireplace features an intuitive LCD display and touch controls on the unit itself, along with a convenient remote control for adjusting settings from a distance.

4.2 Power On/Off

• Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the fireplace on or off.

4.3 Heat Settings

The fireplace features two heat settings (750W and 1500W) and an adjustable thermostat to maintain your desired room temperature.

• Press the Heater button to cycle between low heat (750W), high heat (1500W), or off.
• Use the Thermostat controls to set the desired temperature between 17-30°C (62-86°F). The unit will automatically adjust heat output to maintain this temperature.
• Heat is distributed through top front vents for efficient room warming.

4.4 Flame and Ember Bed Customization

Enjoy realistic flame effects with customizable colors and brightness. The fireplace includes faux fire logs and glass crystals for an authentic look.

• Press the Flame Color button to cycle through 3 different flame colors.
• Press the Top Light Color button to cycle through 3 different top light colors.
• Use the Dimmer button to adjust the brightness of the flames and ember bed.
• The Flame Speed button allows you to adjust the speed of the flame effect.

4.5 Timer Function

Set a timer for automatic shut-off, ranging from 1 to 9 hours.

• Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional outlet. Check your household circuit breaker.
• Heater Not Working: Verify that the heat setting is enabled. Check the thermostat setting; if the room temperature is above the set temperature, the heater will not activate. Ensure the air inlets and outlets are not obstructed.
• Flames Not Visible: Check if the flame effect is turned on and the brightness is adjusted.
• Remote Control Not Working: Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace's sensor.
• Unit Shuts Off Automatically: This may indicate the overheat protection has activated. Unplug the unit, wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool down, and then plug it back in. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
