The Edwards Mailbox comes fully assembled, simplifying the installation process. Mounting hardware and the mailbox post are sold separately. This mailbox is designed to be compatible with Architectural Mailboxes posts designated with the letter "B".

Operating Instructions
To access your mail, simply pull the round knob on the front door. The magnetic latch will release, allowing the door to swing open. After retrieving or placing mail, gently push the door closed until the magnetic latch engages, securing the contents.
For outgoing mail, raise the satin nickel flag located on the side of the mailbox. This signals to the mail carrier that there is mail to be collected. Once mail is collected, the flag can be lowered.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Edwards Mailbox, periodically clean the exterior with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the powder-coated finish. Inspect the magnetic latch and flag mechanism regularly to ensure they operate smoothly. Lubricate moving parts if necessary with a silicone-based spray.
Troubleshooting
- Door Not Closing Securely: Check the magnetic latch for any obstructions or debris. Ensure the door is properly aligned with the mailbox opening.
- Flag Sticking: Clean the flag pivot point and apply a small amount of lubricant if movement is stiff.
- Rust Spots: While the mailbox is rust-resistant, prolonged exposure to harsh conditions or damage to the finish can lead to minor rust. Address small spots promptly with rust-inhibiting paint designed for metal.
