4.2. Mounting Location

4.3. Physical Mounting

  1. Once the location is chosen, mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket.
  2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  3. Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall using the provided screws.
  4. Align the smoke detector with the mounting bracket and twist clockwise until it clicks securely into place.

4.4. App Integration (Optional for Smart Features)

To unlock smart features like app notifications, automations, and remote monitoring, integrate your smoke detector with the Wiser Smart Home system.

  1. Download the "Wiser Home" app from your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store).
  2. Ensure you have a Wiser Hub 2.0 (sold separately) connected and configured.
  3. Open the Wiser Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
  4. The app will guide you through the Bluetooth pairing process. You may need to press the test button on the smoke detector to initiate pairing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Normal Operation

Once installed and powered, the smoke detector continuously monitors for smoke. In the event of smoke detection, the alarm will sound loudly (85 dB warning signal) to alert occupants.
