3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the wine cooler from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Keep packaging materials for future transport or disposal.
3.2 Placement and Ventilation
Choose a location that is well-ventilated and away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure there is sufficient space around the appliance for proper air circulation. This model is designed for built-in installation.

3.3 Leveling
Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the appliance to ensure it is stable and level. This is crucial for proper operation and to minimize vibration.
3.4 Power Connection
Before plugging in, allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle. Connect the power cord to a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet.
3.5 Initial Startup
After connecting to power, the wine cooler will begin to cool. Allow it to run for several hours empty to reach the desired temperature before loading bottles.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Control
The wine cooler features a touch control panel with an LCD display. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature between 5°C and 20°C. The display will show the current internal temperature.

4.2 Internal Lighting
The internal LED lighting can be switched on or off via the control panel. This allows you to illuminate your wine collection without affecting the internal temperature.
4.3 Loading Bottles
Place wine bottles horizontally on the wooden shelves to keep corks moist. Ensure bottles are not touching the back wall to allow for proper air circulation. The shelves are removable for flexible storage.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Interior
To clean the interior, unplug the appliance and remove all bottles and shelves. Wipe the interior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly before replacing shelves and bottles.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. For the glass door, use a glass cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
5.3 Defrosting
The Klarstein Vinsider 36 Built-In Uno features an automatic defrosting system. Frost will melt and drain into an evaporation tray at the back of the unit. Ensure the drain hole is not blocked.
5.4 Door Seal Maintenance
Regularly check and clean the door gasket to ensure a tight seal. A damaged or dirty gasket can lead to inefficient cooling and increased energy consumption.
