Setup and Installation
Child Seat Mode (15 months+ / 76cm-105cm height / up to 20kg)
Installation Method: ISOFIX + Top Tether.
- Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the car seat base.
- Attach the ISOFIX connectors to your vehicle's ISOFIX anchorage points. Ensure a secure click.
- Tighten the ISOFIX connectors firmly against the vehicle seat back.
- Attach the top tether hook to the designated top tether anchorage point in your vehicle and tighten it.
- Verify that all indicators show correct installation (e.g., green indicators for ISOFIX).
Junior Seat Mode (100cm-150cm height)
Installation Method 1: ISOFIX only (Top Tether not used).
- Extend and attach ISOFIX connectors to your vehicle's ISOFIX anchorage points.
- Push the car seat firmly against the vehicle seat back.
- Secure the child using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt.
Installation Method 2: Vehicle Seat Belt only (secures child and seat together).
- Place the car seat on the vehicle seat.
- Secure the child and the car seat using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt.

Operating Instructions
Reclining Adjustment
The RECARO Toria Elite offers 3 recline positions. To adjust, locate the recline lever (usually at the front or side of the base) and pull it while simultaneously pushing or pulling the seat to the desired position.

Headrest and Harness Adjustment (Child Seat Mode)
The headrest can be adjusted to 14 height positions. To adjust, locate the headrest adjustment lever (usually at the top of the headrest or back of the seat) and pull it up or down to the correct height. The harness system adjusts simultaneously with the headrest. Ensure the shoulder straps are at or slightly above the child's shoulders.

HERO Harness System

Harness Too Tight/Loose
Ensure the harness adjustment strap is correctly routed and not twisted. Adjust the headrest height to ensure the shoulder straps are at the correct level. Pull the harness tightening strap until the harness is snug, allowing only one finger to fit between the strap and the child's collarbone.
Seat Feels Unstable After Installation
Recheck all installation steps. Ensure ISOFIX connectors are fully engaged and indicators are green. For child seat mode, ensure the top tether is correctly attached and tightened. For junior seat mode, ensure the vehicle's seat belt is routed correctly and tightly secured.
