4. Setup
4.1 Assembling the Vacuum Cleaner
- Connect the Hose: Insert the hose into the suction inlet on the vacuum cleaner unit until it clicks securely into place.
- Attach the Telescopic Wand: Connect the handle end of the hose to the telescopic wand. Adjust the wand length by pressing the release button and extending or retracting it to a comfortable height.
- Attach the Floorhead: Select the appropriate floorhead (AllTeQ Universal or Parquet Twister XL) and attach it to the end of the telescopic wand. Ensure it is firmly connected.
4.2 Inserting the FilterBag

- Open the dust compartment lid by lifting the release catch.
- Insert a new Miele FilterBag into the holder, ensuring the collar is correctly aligned and seated. The FilterBag features an automatic sealing mechanism.
- Close the dust compartment lid firmly until it clicks.

5.1 Powering On and Off
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the foot switch on the vacuum cleaner unit to turn the appliance on or off.
5.2 Adjusting Suction Power
The Miele Complete C2 features a rotary selector with 6 suction power settings, allowing you to optimize cleaning for various surfaces:

5.3 Using Floorheads and Accessories

- AllTeQ Universal Floorhead: Suitable for both hard floors and low-pile carpets. It features a foot switch to retract or extend bristles for different surfaces.

- Integrated Accessories: The dusting brush, upholstery nozzle, and crevice nozzle are stored conveniently within the vacuum cleaner unit. Open the accessory compartment to access them.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Miele vacuum cleaner.
6.1 Replacing the FilterBag
Replace the FilterBag when the 'Change FilterBag' indicator fills completely with red, or when suction power noticeably decreases. Always use genuine Miele FilterBags.
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Open the dust compartment lid. The FilterBag's automatic sealing flap will close upon removal, trapping dust inside.
- Carefully remove the full FilterBag and dispose of it.
- Insert a new Miele FilterBag as described in Section 4.2.
- Close the dust compartment lid.
6.2 Replacing the AirClean Exhaust Filter
The AirClean Exhaust Filter should be replaced approximately once a year, or when the red indicator on the filter frame is visible. This filter ensures maximum air hygiene.
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Locate the exhaust filter compartment, usually at the rear of the vacuum cleaner.
- Open the compartment and remove the old filter.
- Insert a new Miele AirClean Exhaust Filter, ensuring it is correctly seated.
- Close the compartment.

6.3 Cleaning the Motor Protection Filter
The motor protection filter is located behind the FilterBag. It protects the motor from fine dust particles. This filter typically does not require frequent replacement but should be checked and cleaned if visibly soiled. Refer to the specific instructions provided with your replacement FilterBags for guidance on this filter.
7. Troubleshooting
