3. Setup and Installation

The SZPOWER Solar Street Light can be installed on poles or walls. No electrical wiring is required, simplifying the installation process.

3.1 Important Considerations

• Choose a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily to ensure optimal charging of the solar panel.
• Avoid installing the light under trees or in shaded areas, as this will reduce charging efficiency.
• Ensure the mounting surface (pole or wall) is sturdy enough to support the weight of the light.

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Assemble the Mounting Arm: Attach the mounting arm to the back of the solar street light using the provided screws.
2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the light assembly against the desired pole or wall location. Use a pencil to mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket.
3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit size for the expansion bolts.
4. Secure the Bracket: Insert the expansion bolts into the drilled holes and secure the mounting bracket firmly to the pole or wall.
5. Attach the Light: Mount the solar street light assembly onto the secured bracket and tighten all screws to ensure it is stable and secure.

4. Operating Instructions

The SZPOWER Solar Street Light is designed for automatic operation, but its functions can be customized using the included remote control.

4.1 Initial Activation

Upon first use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours to fully charge the battery. The light will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.

4.2 Remote Control Functions

The remote control allows you to select different lighting modes and adjust brightness levels:

• ON/OFF: Manually turn the light on or off. Note: In motion sensor mode, the light will still activate upon sensing movement even if manually turned off.
• Mode 1 (Dusk to Dawn): The light will automatically turn on at 100% brightness at dusk and remain on continuously throughout the night until dawn.
• Mode 2 (Motion Sensor): The light will maintain 30% brightness at night. When motion is detected, it will switch to 100% brightness for a set duration, then return to 30% brightness.
• Mode 3 (Timing Setting): Set the light to automatically turn off after 2, 3, 5, 6, or 8 hours of operation. This mode can be combined with continuous or sensor modes.
• Brightness Adjustment: Select from 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% brightness levels.

5. Maintenance
