Safety Information
Your Westinghouse electric blanket is designed with safety in mind and is ETL and FCC certified. It includes a robust overheating protection system to ensure safe operation.
- Always unplug the power cord before cleaning or when not in use.
- Do not fold the heating blanket when using it to prevent overheating.
- Ensure the blanket is used only with a standard 120V AC 60Hz wall outlet.
- Keep the control unit away from water or moisture.
- Do not use the blanket with infants, children, incapacitated persons, or persons insensitive to heat.
Setup
To set up your electric blanket:
- Unpack the blanket and lay it flat on your bed or desired surface.
- Locate the connection ports at the bottom of the blanket. For Queen size blankets, there are two ports for dual control.
- Connect each control unit's cord securely into its respective port on the blanket.
- Plug the power cords from the control units into a standard 120V AC 60Hz wall outlet. The cords are designed to be long enough for convenient placement.

Operating Instructions
The Westinghouse electric blanket features a smart digital temperature controller for easy operation.
- Power On/Off: Press the red power button on the control unit to turn the blanket on or off.
- Adjust Heating Levels: Use the '+' and '-' buttons under 'HEAT' to select from 10 heating levels. Level 'L' is the lowest, and 'H' (or 10) is the highest.
- Set Auto Shut-Off Timer: Use the '+' and '-' buttons under 'TIME' to set the auto shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. The blanket will automatically turn off after the set time.
- Dual Control: For Queen size blankets, two independent control units allow separate temperature and timer settings for each side of the blanket.

Maintenance and Care
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your electric blanket.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug and detach the control units from the blanket.
- Machine Washing: The blanket supports machine washing. Use a gentle cycle with water temperature below 86°F (30°C).
- Drying: Air-dry the blanket or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Do not dry clean or iron.
- Storage: Once completely dry, the blanket can be folded and stored. The heating wires are designed for flexibility and pressure resistance.

Troubleshooting
If your electric blanket is not functioning as expected, please check the following:
- No Heat: Ensure the control unit is securely connected to the blanket and the power cord is firmly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Uneven Heat: Check that the blanket is laid flat and not folded or bunched up during use.
- Control Unit Display Issues: Unplug the blanket from the wall outlet for a few minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control unit.
