Handheld Microphones (Transmitters)

The system includes two handheld dynamic microphones.

Setup Instructions

  1. Install Antennas: Screw the two antennas onto the ANT-1 and ANT-2 connectors on the rear of the receiver. Ensure they are securely attached and positioned vertically for optimal signal reception.
  2. Power the Receiver: Connect the power adapter to the DC INPUT on the receiver and plug it into a power outlet. Press the POWER button to turn on the receiver.
  3. Install Batteries in Microphones: Open the battery compartment of each handheld microphone and insert 2 x AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  4. Connect to Audio System:
    • Using 1/4" Mix Output: Connect the provided 1/4" output cable from the MIX OUT port on the receiver to the input of your amplifier, mixer, or PA system. This combines the audio from both microphones into a single output.

    • Using XLR Outputs: For separate control of each microphone, connect XLR cables (not included) from BALANCED-1 (Mic A) and BALANCED-2 (Mic B) to individual XLR inputs on your mixer.

    • Connecting to TV (via Amplifier): If connecting to a TV, ensure your TV's audio output is connected to an audio amplifier, and then connect the FIFINE K040 receiver to the amplifier as described above.

  5. Power On Microphones: Press and hold the power button on each microphone until the LCD screen illuminates. The microphones should automatically pair with the receiver.
  6. Adjust Volume: Use the VOL A and VOL B knobs on the receiver to set the desired output volume for each microphone.

Operating Instructions

Ensure all components are properly connected and powered on before operation.

  1. Microphone Usage: Hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your mouth for optimal sound pickup. Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand.
  2. Volume Control: Adjust the individual volume knobs (VOL A, VOL B) on the receiver to balance the audio levels of each microphone.

  4. Frequency Selection (If Interference Occurs):
    • If you experience interference, you can change the operating frequency of the microphones.
    • On the handheld microphone, press the SET button. The frequency on the LCD display will change.
    • The receiver will automatically synchronize with the new frequency.
    • The system offers 50 selectable UHF frequencies per channel to minimize interference.
  5. Operating Range: The system provides a line-of-sight range of up to 35 meters (115 feet). Obstacles and other wireless devices may reduce this range.

Troubleshooting
