3. Setup Guide

3.1. Remote Control Battery Installation

  1. Gently twist the bottom cover of the wireless remote control counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Replace the bottom cover and twist clockwise to secure.

3.2. Mounting the Light Bar

  1. Place the light bar's central clip onto the top edge of your monitor.
  2. Adjust the rear support bracket to firmly grip the back of your monitor. The 3-piece base design accommodates monitors from 0.12 to 2.36 inches thick, including curved screens.
  3. Ensure the light bar is stable and the light source is directed downwards onto your desk, not onto the screen.

3.3. Connecting Power

  1. Connect the USB-C end of the power cable to the port on the light bar.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a 5V/1A USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, power bank, or USB wall adapter).

3.4. Pairing the Remote Control

  1. Ensure the light bar is powered on.
  2. Within 5 seconds of powering on the light bar, long-press the center position of the remote control and rotate the housing clockwise.
  3. The light bar will flash, indicating successful pairing.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

  • Remote Control: Short press the center button on the remote to turn the light bar on or off.
  • Touch Controls: Tap the power icon () on the light bar body to turn it on or off.

4.2. Adjusting Brightness

  • Remote Control: Rotate the top dial of the remote clockwise to increase brightness, and counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
  • Touch Controls: Short touch the dimming icon () for 5 levels of dimmable brightness. Long touch for stepless dimming.

4.3. Adjusting Color Temperature

  • Remote Control: Press and turn the bottom ring of the remote clockwise to increase color temperature (cooler light), and counter-clockwise to decrease color temperature (warmer light).
  • Touch Controls: Short touch the CCT icon (🌡) for 5 levels of color temperature adjustment. Long touch for stepless CCT change.

4.4. Automatic Dimming

The light bar features a built-in ambient light sensor. Double-click the automatic light sensor switch on the lamp body or click the remote control twice to activate automatic brightness adjustment based on your working environment.

4.5. RGB and Music Sync Modes

  • Remote Control: The remote allows switching between various RGB light modes and Music Sync mode.
  • Touch Controls: Short touch the Music Sync & RGB mode switch () to shift between Music Sync mode and RGB mode. Long touch to switch between different RGB modes.

4.6. Camera Base Usage

The light bar features a carefully designed camera base above the lamp body. This allows you to mount your webcam directly on top of the light bar, saving valuable desktop space and ensuring optimal camera positioning.

5. Maintenance

  • To clean the light bar, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  • Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Light bar does not turn on:
    • Check if the USB power cable is securely connected to both the light bar and the power source.
    • Ensure the power source is active and providing 5V/1A power.
    • Verify that the remote control batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
  • Remote control is unresponsive:
    • Replace the AAA batteries in the remote control.
    • Re-pair the remote control with the light bar following the instructions in Section 3.4.
  • Screen glare is present:
    • Adjust the angle of the light bar to ensure the light is directed onto your desk and keyboard, not directly onto the monitor screen.
    • The asymmetric optical design is intended to prevent glare; minor adjustments may be needed for optimal positioning.
  • Light bar is unstable on the monitor:
    • Ensure the rear support bracket is fully extended and securely gripping the back of your monitor.
    • The 3-piece base is designed for stability on various thicknesses; double-check the fit.
