Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the "ZERO" button (which also functions as the power button) to turn on the scale. The display will light up.
- Select Unit: Press the "UNIT" button repeatedly to cycle through the available measurement units: ounces (oz), pounds (lb), grams (g), and kilograms (kg). Select your desired unit before weighing.
- Tare Function (Zeroing a Container):
- Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the "ZERO" button. The display will reset to 0.0, effectively "taring" the container's weight.
- You can now add ingredients to the container, and the scale will only display the weight of the added ingredients.
- Weighing Ingredients: Place the item(s) directly onto the glass platform or into a tared container. The weight will be displayed on the backlit screen.
- Power Off: To conserve battery life, the scale will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity. You can also press and hold the "ZERO" button to manually turn it off.
