Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
- Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.
The clock will power on automatically once batteries are inserted.
2. Initial Settings (Time, Date, 12/24 Hour Format)
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour display will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. Adjust with UP/DOWN.
- Continue pressing MODE to cycle through and set the year, month, and day. Adjust each value with UP/DOWN.
- After setting the day, pressing MODE will allow you to select between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. Use UP/DOWN to choose.
- Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode and save your changes.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Alarm
- From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to display the alarm time.
- While the alarm time is displayed, press and hold the MODE button for approximately 3 seconds. The alarm hour display will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press MODE again to confirm the alarm hour and move to alarm minute setting. Adjust with UP/DOWN.
- Press MODE one last time to exit alarm setting mode.
Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- From the normal time display, press the UP button repeatedly to toggle the alarm ON or OFF. An alarm icon (bell symbol) will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
Using the Snooze Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock. The alarm will pause and sound again after approximately 5 minutes.
- To stop the alarm completely, press any other button on the back of the clock.
Backlight Function
- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock to activate the backlight. The backlight will illuminate the display for approximately 5 seconds.
Viewing Max/Min Temperature and Humidity
- Press the MAX/MIN button to cycle through the current, maximum, and minimum recorded temperature and humidity values for the day.
- The display will show "MAX" or "MIN" next to the values to indicate which record is being viewed.
Weather Forecast Display
The clock displays weather icons (sun, clouds, rain) based on internal atmospheric pressure changes. This is a general forecast and may not always reflect precise local conditions.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays.
- Battery Replacement: When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace both AAA batteries promptly to ensure continued accurate operation. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
