4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Preparing the Freezer Bowl
For best results, the freezer bowl must be completely frozen before use. This typically takes a minimum of 8 hours, but it is recommended to freeze it overnight (12-24 hours) in the coldest part of your freezer.
- Ensure the freezer bowl is clean and dry before placing it in the freezer.
- Place the bowl upright in the freezer.
- The bowl is ready when the coolant liquid inside is completely frozen and no liquid sound is heard when shaken.
4.2 Assembling the Ice Cream Maker
- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface. The anti-slip feet will help secure it.
- Insert the frozen freezer bowl into the motor base.
- Place the mixing paddle into the center of the freezer bowl, ensuring it sits correctly.
- Place the transparent lid onto the motor base, aligning it properly and twisting to lock if applicable (refer to visual cues on the lid and base).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preparing Your Mixture
Prepare your desired ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt mixture according to your recipe. For best results, chill your mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before churning. This helps achieve a smoother, creamier consistency.
5.2 Churning Process
- Ensure the freezer bowl is properly frozen and assembled in the unit.
- Pour your chilled mixture into the freezer bowl through the opening in the lid. Do not fill above the maximum fill line (if indicated) to allow for expansion.
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- Use the digital control panel to set the desired churning time. The digital timer allows settings from 5 to 45 minutes. A typical preparation time is 30-40 minutes for ice cream.
- Press the start button to begin churning. The display will show the remaining preparation time.
- During the last 5-10 minutes of churning, you can add additional ingredients such as chocolate chips, nuts, fruit pieces, or cookie crumbs through the opening in the lid.
- The machine will automatically stop when the set time has elapsed.

5.3 After Churning
Once churning is complete, the consistency will be similar to soft-serve ice cream. For a firmer consistency, transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and place it in the freezer for 2-4 hours (this is known as "ripening").
