Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical products to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Do not disassemble, open, or shred the battery pack.
• Do not expose the battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit a battery pack.
• Do not subject battery packs to mechanical shock.
• In the event of battery leakage, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Keep battery packs clean and dry.
• Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
• Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
• Store the battery in a cool, dry place.

Setup

Initial Charge

1. Connect the provided DC charger (not included with battery, typically comes with the tire inflator) to the DC Input port (10-15V/1A) on the battery.
2. Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet.
3. The power indicator lights will illuminate to show the charging progress. All lights will be solid when fully charged.
4. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

Installing the Battery

1. Align the battery pack with the battery slot on your compatible KeenPower 21V Tire Inflator (e.g., C218, KPC218, BC219, C218Y, RC219, CT160).
2. Slide the battery into the slot until the built-in latch clicks into place, securing the battery.
3. Ensure the battery is firmly seated before operation.

Operating the Battery

Checking Battery Level

Press the small button next to the power indicator lights on the battery. The illuminated LEDs will indicate the remaining charge:

• 4 Lights: 75-100% charge
• 3 Lights: 50-75% charge
• 2 Lights: 25-50% charge
• 1 Light: Below 25% charge, recharge soon

Using USB Output

The battery features a 5V/2A USB output port, allowing it to function as a power bank for charging small electronic devices.

1. Connect your USB charging cable to the USB output port on the battery.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
3. The battery will begin charging your device.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the battery pack. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: If storing the battery for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% capacity and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
• Disposal: Do not dispose of lithium-ion batteries with household waste. Consult your local waste management authority for proper recycling or disposal options.
