1. Important Safety Instructions

• Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
• Only use the provided ice packs and fill the water tank with clean tap water.

3. Assembly & Setup

The Dreo IceWind Evaporative Air Cooler requires minimal assembly before first use.

Assembly Steps:

1. Carefully unpack all components from the box.
2. Connect the two sections of the fan base. Ensure they snap securely into place.
3. Align the assembled base with the bottom of the evaporative cooler unit.
4. Twist the base clockwise until it locks firmly onto the main unit.
5. Place the evaporative cooler on a firm, level surface.

Filling the Water Tank:

1. Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
2. Fill the water tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line. The reservoir capacity is 1.08 gallons.
3. For enhanced cooling, place the included ice pack(s) into the water tank after filling.
4. Slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.

4. Operation

The Dreo IceWind Evaporative Air Cooler can be operated via the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel & Remote Control Functions:

• Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through 3 operating modes: Normal, Natural, and Sleep.
• Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed through 4 settings (1-4).
• Oscillation Button: Activates or deactivates the 80° oscillation function.
• Timer Button: Sets a timer for automatic shut-off (specific timer intervals may vary, refer to display).
• Cooling/Humidifying Button: Activates or deactivates the evaporative cooling/humidifying function.

Operating Modes:

• Normal Mode: Provides a constant airflow at the selected speed.
• Natural Mode: Simulates natural breeze by varying fan speed.
• Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower, quieter speed, often with dimming display lights, for undisturbed rest.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your evaporative air cooler.

Cleaning the Water Tank:

• It is recommended to clean the water tank at least twice a month to prevent mold and mildew growth.
• Unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
• Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting.

Cleaning the Cooling Pad and Rear Grille:

• The cooling pad and rear grille are removable for easier cleaning.
• Gently remove these components.
• Rinse the cooling pad under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Wipe the rear grille with a soft, damp cloth.
• Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.

Exterior Cleaning:

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
