Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the 4-cup container, lid, and oscillating blade in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
  3. Assemble Blade: Carefully place the oscillating blade onto the center shaft inside the 4-cup container. Ensure it sits securely.
  4. Place Container: Position the 4-cup container onto the motor base, aligning it correctly until it locks into place.
  5. Secure Lid: Place the lid onto the 4-cup container and twist or push down until it securely locks. The safety mechanism prevents operation if the lid is not properly secured.
  6. Position: Place the assembled food processor on a clean, dry, and stable surface. Ensure the non-slip suction feet are firmly attached to the countertop.

Operating Instructions

Preparing Ingredients

  • Cut large food items into smaller, uniform pieces (approximately 1-inch cubes) to ensure even processing and prevent overloading.
  • Do not overfill the 4-cup container. Refer to the maximum fill line on the container.

Using the Food Processor

  1. Ensure the food processor is properly assembled with the blade, container, and lid securely locked.
  2. Add your prepared ingredients to the 4-cup container.
  3. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Select the desired operating mode using the lever on the side of the motor base:

    • Low: For softer ingredients or a coarser chop.
    • High: For harder ingredients or a finer chop/puree.
    • Pulse (P): For short bursts of power, ideal for controlling consistency and preventing over-processing. Hold the lever in the 'P' position for pulsing, release to stop.
  5. Process ingredients until the desired consistency is achieved. Do not operate continuously for more than 1 minute to prevent motor overheating. Allow a short break between cycles.
  6. Adding Liquids: For recipes requiring liquids, use the opening on the lid while the processor is running.

  7. Once processing is complete, switch the mode lever to the "off" position and unplug the appliance from the outlet.
  8. Carefully remove the lid, then the oscillating blade, and finally the processed food from the container.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your food processor.

  1. Unplug: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Carefully remove the lid, oscillating blade, and 4-cup container from the motor base.
  3. Wash Parts: The 4-cup container, lid, and oscillating blade are dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended) or can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Exercise extreme caution when handling the sharp blade.
  4. Clean Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  5. Dry: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling or storing.
