Basic Operation
Power On/Off
Press the power button to turn the flash on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.
Flash Modes
The TT685II-S supports various flash modes:
- TTL Autoflash Mode: Automatically sets flash output for correct exposure.
- Manual Flash Mode: Allows manual adjustment of flash output from 1/1 to 1/128 power.
- Multi Flash Mode (Stroboscopic): Fires a series of rapid flashes to capture multiple movements in a single exposure.
High-Speed Sync (HSS)
The flash supports High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000s, allowing you to use wider apertures in bright conditions or freeze fast motion.
Advanced Features
TCM Instant Conversion
The TCM (TTL Converted to Manual) function allows for quick conversion of a TTL exposure value into a manual power setting. This helps maintain consistent light output when switching from automatic to manual control.

FEB Function (Flash Exposure Bracketing)
Short press the FEB button and turn the dial to set the FEB amount. This function allows the flash to fire three consecutive shots at different exposure values (one at the set exposure, one underexposed, and one overexposed), helping to ensure optimal exposure in challenging lighting conditions.

Bounce Flash Capability
The flash head can be tilted from -7° to 120° and rotated 330° horizontally, providing flexible angles for bounce flash. This allows you to direct the light off a ceiling or wall for softer, more natural illumination.

Godox 2.4G Wireless X System
The TT685II-S features a built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System, allowing it to function as both a transmitter and a receiver. This enables seamless wireless communication with other compatible Godox flashes and triggers, offering reliable off-camera flash control up to 100 meters.
